    Hi
Do you know if the recordre in object is able to play dvd dual layer (+ or -) burned, for example , with a pc)?
Reading the operator manual it would seem impossible .
Does anyone have this recorder and can make a test with?
    Thanks

p.s. sorry for my english, but I'm italian

    Ciao
Io ho provato vari lettori DVD che dicevano di non essere compatibili, eppure hanno sempre letto i DL. Io li masterizzo sempre come DVD-ROM

    Saluti

Ciao, grazie per la risposta, mi hai dato una nuova speranza
Tra l'altro, non convinto ho scritto anche alla Samsung inglese che mi ha risposto cosė: "Dual layer should not be supported but in some cases they work.
If they do not though there is not a fault with the unit."

Il che sembrerebbe avvalorare la tua tesi.

I have up to now had little trouble playing DVD-R or DVD+R, most of them had the content ripped, the UOP removed and were transcoded.

There's one DVD+R that gives me trouble though. I might have burned it with Ashampoo, because the volume was less than 4.7 GB so it didn't need shrinking to fit. This one refuses to be rewound or jump backwards a whole chapter. If I try, the Samsung freezes.
    Regards
