Hello, I have been using grphedit, well trying to learn from the 0 knowledge out there. anyway I know guys have used AC3 filter to get there cards to output AC3 over SPDIF. What I would like to do is decode AC3 over SPDIF using my soundcard. I think I can do this with GRaphedit. I do not have the skills needed and there are so many modules that I would need help..or if there is another way to do it great...thx for any help you could give me..

You can do that by using FFdshow as your AC3 Audio decoder. It'll play out of SPDIF and it'll be a lot easier.

What, specifically do you want to accomplish? I guess I don't understand your question. Give me the scenario - would you like to end up with an AC3 file, a multichannel wav, 6 single mono wavs, etc.... Or are you hooking up your system to a digital sound processor and you need SPDIF?

It's hard to explain. I came here becasue alot of guys know about Graphedit, ac3 filter and FFDshow. in the Video forums I don't think I ma really in the right place. THX anyway.

I want one card to process surround sound and route it to another card for output. Can't use SPDIF as it's only stereo in my situation. I think I may have to go to a audio forum.. thx though.
