    Will only NTSC vcds play in our tvs...in the US? I think ive got some burned PAL VCDs and they come in black and white on my tv...
    I can change settings on dvd player to use ntsc or pal...but still ugly on my tv(panasonic)

    sounds like your player is outputting pal video no matter what, if they play fine on your computer you player must not be designed to play pal vcd

    well i can put a ntsc in there and its fine...works great...but the pal kills me...so its the DVD player that will output it to the tv correctly? not the TV that needs to play pal?
