Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems playing DVDs with this player? I rushed out to buy The Fast and the Furious, but when I got home, would not play! I tried it in a few of my friend's players, and it works fine. One of my friends gave me the explanation that TF&TF has Multi-Layers and this player can't handle those, but Gladiator has Dual Layers and that plays fine.
Has anyone tried the update from Rowa? I've heard it has screwed up alot of players, but just curious if this update would solve my problem. Any info would be great, thanks

No problems I know of with multiple layers. It's a little picky though from what I'm experiencing. I know of no patch for this player yet. Are you sure it's for THIS model?
(I've been on their web site and can't find a link for patches on this player anywhere! The 280 had a patch I believe, but I couldn't find this here either...)
Weird - have you noticed anything odd about zooming? Does it lock out nearly all the controls when it returns the zoom to normal automatically on yours too? (Personally, I don't think it should return to normal automatically either.)
