    hi to all forumers,

let's say that someone don't want to use subrip, because of wrong ocr
can somebody point me another similar software to extract subtitles from a dvd in srt format
or something else that converts .sup to .srt format, i tried SubtitleCreator v.2.06 with no luck ?

    thanks in advance

    p.s.
i've search a lot before posting this and forgive me if something slept my attention

You must use a ocr. You can use vsrip to rip to sub/idx and then use vobsub to ocr to srt also.

You can look at sites like http://www.opensubtitles.org/, http://www.subbiee.com/.

Many people submit the subtitle files (mostly SRTs) they've made there.

Quality varies wildly. You should spellcheck at least, preferably proofread. You'll probably have to resync with your version. Subtitle Workshop is good for that, just match the first and last subtitles usually.
