[Anything infected with Digital Restrictions Management may be highly unsafe for user.
Its all just up to the 'mercy' of the DRMs infectee (the infection issuing company) how will they use it against you.

Anyone trying to prove otherwise is either a sell-out (working for one of the Big Co. or their satellite agencies like RIAA, MPAA etc) or is an idiot deserving to use this RIAA/MPAA-approved software (yep, they still try to push it down the throats computer-illiterate parents...)

    4. DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ("DRMs").
The name is intentionally and misleadingly twisted, and should be considered a stern warning for potential users before they install anything DRM-infected, since it does NOT give the user ANY rights, but quite opposite: it RESTRICTS potential user severily.
More accurate name should be Digital Restrictions Management, of course.

DRMs are designed to manage and enforce intellectual property rights in digital content purchased over the Internet.
    In simple words:
You agree to limit yourself, or to be forced by the DRM-infected software to be limited in what you can do with the DRM-infected content purchased over the Internet.
Buy the same content in a brick'n'mortar store (i.e. CD, DVD) and be gone with the infection and limitations...

Gomplayer digital rights management is a proven platform to protect and securely deliver content for playback on a computer, portable device, or network device. You may not take any action to circumvent or defeat the security or content usage rules provided or enforced by either the DRM or the Software.
    In simple words:
You voluntarily agree to give up part of, or all of your consumer rights associated with the product (aka "content"), i.e. you voluntarily agree to let the DRM-infected software to forbid i.e. your wife from reading ebooks purchased by you.
If you want to be able to let your wife read the same book without buying it twice, or still want to be able to lend your book or music or movies to your family or friends as normal people do - buy a real book/CD/DVD in a brick'n'mortar store instead...

DRMs may be able to revoke your ability to use applicable content.
    exactly as I said before.
In other words it means: YOU ARE AT THEIR MERCY. They can suddenly and/or abruptly, unbeknowst to you (because done remotely/invisible to you) stop or forbid you from continued enjoyment of using product (aka "content") you have paid for...
Simply buy same "content" in a brick'm'mortar store (book, CD, DVD ...) instead, if you want to ever avoid such "surprises"

Gomplayer is not responsible for the operation of third party DRM in any way, including revocation of your content. Gomplayer is not responsible for any communications to or from any third party DRM provider, or for the collection or use of information by third party DRMs.
The "legal mumbo jumbo", which boils down to this: "you forgave most of your rights and you agreed to being spied upon, so don't whine or complain to us when something screw up, when informations about you being spied on leak to some advertising agencies, or when your computer will be hacked to because of our rootkits or other crap you voluntarily allowed us to install on your computer. If it blows up in your face youre on your own - because YOU wanted it".
Simple. They can't install it remotely on your computer (not yet anyways). YOU are installing it (bringin on) yourself

You consent to the communications enabled and/or performed by the DRM, including automatic updating of the DRM without further notice.
Sentence added just to make sure that you have understood what they said in previous sentences about spying on you...

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gomplayer for any claim relating to your use of a third party DRM.
Yet another repeat to make sure you really understood that from the moment you click "OK/install" its all your fault, YOUR FAULT and nobody else's, so you can't ever complaint against Gomplayer...

    Whats there not to understand?
Whats there to be scared of?
    :P
Its a standard, common EULA that comes with all DRM-infected software and/or content... where have you been exactly in the past 6-8 years, were you hiding in the middle of Africa or something?
