Hello I hope someone can help me with a problem I am having what I want to do is Combine scenes from 3 different DVDs in to one. I have 3 Versions of Superman II and want to make a ultimate version of the movie. I have
    Superman II Original
Superman II The Richard Donner Cut
Superman II The Restored International Cut
    As well as deleted scenes.

All different versions the restored International Cut is in Full screen TV Capture the other 2 are original DVDs so the audio is different as well as aspect ratios.

So could some one suggest a program(s) that can be used to archive this goal I don't mind paying for the programs you suggest as long as they will do what I need.

    Thanks In Advance

    Hi Dazzatron,

    Welcome to the forums.

The first thing I'd do is get "the restored International Cut" into MPEG2 with the same audio as your other two (probably AC3). You'll need to look into encoding tools for the video part, and you can use ffmpeggui to get the audio into AC3.

Then you can use TMPGEnc DVD Author to "Add file" for MPEG2 files (filename.mpg) or "Add DVD Video" if they're VOB files.

Add each film into the same track. Then use the "Chapter cut edit" selection in the "Add clip" window that comes up to set ypur start and end frame.

Repeat until you've got your desired arrangement...

This is a very brief explanation, but there should be enough to get you started and, with some reading, you should be able to figure the detail out.

    Good luck!
