Hello and thanks in advance for any help,
I am receiving, from the producer, a DVD copy of a film I did. I need to, and have his permission to, take certain scenes from the film and put them together for a reel that I can then distribute to agents and such.
I have been made well aware that this is no easy task. To complicate matters, it is a PAL DVD that I will need to convert (read that How-To)
Can someone please help! I don't have the $ to pay for someone to do this and need to get it out as soon as possible!
Thanks again
Bohobo

I would go with Sony's Vegas Movie Studio. It comes in a few different versions. I would get the Vegas Movie Studio+DVD Platinum Edition (Version 7 is currently the newest version).
Here is a link: CLICK HERE
That has everything you need in a fairly inexpensive package to edit your video and create a final DVD Video.
My suggestion would be to convert the PAL DVD to PAL DV AVI and edit it in that form and wait until you are done with the editing and adding of titles and effects etc. before you attempt to convert to NTSC.

Hey John,
Thanks for the suggestion. It says on the site I can download a trial version. Do you think the trial would allow me to do what I need instead of having to purchase it?
