Just want to do a poll on what format DVD is the most popular.

What DVD format do you mainly author in?

4:3 Letterboxed DVD or 16:9 DVD?

If I have a 4:3 video camera, but shoot in cinema mode to watch on 16:9 screen, what answer should I choose?

    16:9

Now that I think about it we should all really be making 16:9 DVDs unless your source video is 4:3. 16:9 is the future.

16:9 over 4:3, of course, unless the source is 4:3. If the aspect ratio requires a wider format, I'll letterbox to 16:9 only if hard coding subtitles. 4:3 is a legacy format.
