  1. Hello everyone,

I have been using Dvd Santa to convert all my files and have never had a problem. Well, I have been using it on my AMD 2000+ PC. I blew out the power supply on that tower and havent replaced it yet. So I would like to start using Santa on my other tower, an AMD 2800+. However, I cant load ANY video files at all (including some that I have converted on the other computer previously). The error is just simply "cant load video file .. *filename*"

I realize I can use another program, but Im concerned why I cant load any files specifically on THIS computer.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks a bunch
    LG

use g-spot or avicodec to find out what codecs are required, and make sure they are installed. I suspect that this is your main problem (that, and the fact that you are using DVD Santa)

  3. Strange. It was a codec problem. I didnt have divx installed but I actually installed it about a week ago. Very odd.

    But its working fine now.

Oh and about using Dvd Santa .. no, its not the best program but for my needs its WAY more than suitable.
