    Is there a program or conversion method out there, BESIDES Zune Marketplace, that'll convert MP4 videos to WMV videos? I want to have more control over the settings when converting.

    Also WME will not convert from Vob's. I'm using WinAVI but it only has limited Flexibility

    You can load mp4s via avisynth directshowsource into WMNicEnc . WMNicEnc can use MS mpeg4,wmv7,wmv8,wmv9 and wmv9 advanced profile(vc1) for video and you can tweak all the settings.

    Yep, avisynth can help you, tiny howto: https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=856#856 and then open the avs in wmnicenc.

    Maybe also try MediaCoder, Total Video Converter.
