    the thing is, as Im fairly new to all this.

    What if the code doesnt work will my DVD get damaged ?

    It should either work or not, there are cases where the code works for a short time and then the player stops playing anything. Also, since it is a hack, it will void your warranty. In other words, use at your own risk.
