Hello,
I bought an iPod Nano for my sister for Christmas, her B-Day is in January so I am interested in getting her a docking station/speakers. She is not musically inclined, in fact she has no stereo system at all (the way she listens to cds is through her dvd player & tv). I am looking to spend around $100.00 and am looking for advice as to which units are good in that price range. I was looking at the JBL On Stage, any user reviews on that unit or any others? Thanks.

wow that second system looks insane! Anyways thanks for the Polk suggestion, I'll look into that one. The other thing I am considering if geting a shelf system (boombox) with auxillary input. This way she could plug her ipod into it, as well as listen to cds/radios/dare I say tapes????

boombox with the auxillary input would work great if she doesn't JUST listen to her iopd.

I think I'm going to go with a Panasonic shelf system, I think they sound good at reasonable prices. This way she has the flexibility to listen to her music in a variety of formats.
