    trouble is it doesnt appear to work as it should ...... i am stretching the part of film i want so its full screen ........ yet when complete its back in widescreen/black bars top bottom format

    is it me or can you not do this

    i'm trying to cut bits from films to then convert to 3gp which is gettin a bit of a pain at the moment

    any help/ advice would be welcomed

    I haven't tested it....but I would try something else like Nero Recode!

  3. I 2nd Nero Recode to do DVD & Videos to IPOD. They are working updating Recode 2 to create 5.5 IPOD video. (H.264 and MPEG4 at 640x480)

    It has been the only app that works 100%.
    For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!

    ok .......... utter newbie to all this as you may/may not have guessed


    do i use nero to cut the bit i want from the dvd then convert ??
    got a good converter to 3gp already so all i need is to cut the bits i want from dvd's ... into a format i can then convert to 3gp

    hopefully this makes some semblance of sense


    ps. not too concerned about it workin on ipod as its the 3gp i want .......... just seemed to of found an easy ipod thingy .......... which now doesnt seem so easy ..............

    i have to say ................ and i will stand corrected if need be

    but aint there just a point and click type program ......... watch dvd ... stop at bit you want 'cut ' ... paste somewhere

    convert to format wanted

    type of thingy
