    Hi im fairly new to this burning lark hope you can help??

    Ive just encoded some avi files to dvd mpeg..after waiting about 5 hours,ive then put the Audio
    and Video ts folders into Toast 7 and checked the data tab and checked the Dvd-Rom(udf) come to burn and its saying there"s not enough space on dvd 4.5gb needed only 4.38 avaible..does anyone known where i go from here?? can i compress the files or something to get it on?/

  3. I just went through the same process I used Toast to compress the file though.
    I selected the video tab, then DVD-Video in the formats side bar.
    I then dragged the avi to the centre and clicked record, the encoding did take a few hours.
    The result was very good.
    You can add menus and titles in this mode too.

    If you have an authored VIDEO_TS folder, then you could use the Fit-to-DVD option in the DVD-Video from VIDEO_TS format. Then Toast will make it fit.
