I could not get this to backup...I always back up my kids movies for trips. This just won't seem to work...any suggestions? It seemed to take a long time to load up in DVD Shrink and Decrypter.

Have you tried DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me?

I tried DVD Fab 3.0.3.5 and I started to use RipIt4Me, but that just stopped when it opened DVD Decrypter.
DVDShrink would open it, but it crapped out at a certain VTS file. -
I've had a few new releases (disney specific) that craps out right before the blue disney logo. Dont know why... every program I try pukes at that spot on most new disney movies. Possibly IceAge 2 has a similar protection scheme.
So the only way around it is to use Nero and define a start point beyond the Disney Blue logo. Create movie DVD folder. Then burn with proggie dejour. -
I'll have to try a few more things when I got home today....I guess I didn't really dive deep into RipIt4Me. Not sure how that programs works, I did download the VTSFix program....
I cannot access the tutorial here at work, but I will try again, maybe it was something I did wrong. Just curious if anyone else tried it yet. -
Someone at work said he got it to work, maybe mine had a small scratch or something...weird.

I'm pretty sure it's the multi-angle feature causing the problem. The latest update of PSL plug-in includes a multi-angle stripper. The previous version didn't.

Either method works for me, try the Lastest beta of DVD Fab, rip in main movie mode only, it sometimes work over whole dvd if you wish to only back up movie and not whole DVD
but I keep older versions of DVDFAB. yeah sometimes changing the version works, 99% of the time, I could post a list of older version that work better on resent DVDs lol
Ice Age 2, No problems, every once in a while I have a problem ripping .... what seems odd, the put new types of Sony crap on different no name movies I like, instead of the blockbusters, why?
