    Hey,

I have recently recorded something with a mates video camera, and want to record it to the PC....now for various, unrelevant reasons im choosing the record using an S-Vid connection from the camera into my tuner card.....now for audio the camera has room for one RCA plug (the White one), which results in one speaker output, not both....i wish to know whether there is a way to make both audio channels work...all Help is much appreciated.....

    Thanks,

    Matt

It's a Panasonic NV-VS3, but the camera itself is fine, i just need some software that will copy, for example whats on the Right channel, to the Left channel, so i hear it on both....

    Thanks,

Goldwave may be able to accomplish this for you. Try www.goldwave.com for the free trial.

    Hey,

OK, One last question (sorry for double post)....but ive now recorded the video to the pc, and have pasted the Left's audio onto the Right's using GoldWave....but i now need to know how i get to save that audio file into the audio of the Video file (sorry if that was confusing lol)....i used the DVD capture profile on Winfast (which is MPEG2...with MPEG II audio, 128kb/s).....any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Matt

  7. Create a new file by multiplexing the video from the original file together with the repaired audio file.

A low-tech solution would be to use a Y-cable to send the single audio output from the camcorder to both capture card audio inputs, if you don't mind the slight loss of signal level that would result.
