I've got a ReplayTV MPG that somebody recorded from an HD source so it's 16:9. When I watch it on my SD set it's "squished". Any ideas on how I can convert to 4:3, either with clipping (preferred) or by resizing and adding appropriate borders to result in a 4:3 letterboxed video?
I thought there might be a way to do this with ffmpeg but haven't been able to find anything that directly states how this might be accomplished.
Thanks...Scott
