  1. I tried burning numerous times with nero vision, it useed to transcode the xvids and burn to dvd with ease, but now all i get is new coasters. nero still burns perfectly if the files are already VOB's. Nero Vison will transcode right upto 100% but when its time to burn it say error, burning failed. Here is the message that i saved after it failed again, Can someone help me with this problem? Much thanks in advance!!

Desktop is not the place for this ... nero has had issue's with file's on desktop ... the desktop should never be used in this manner , it should be treated as a protected species ... store clip on C drive .

Recording speed is set as "0" ???
Check log for previous successful burns and confirm parameter used for prior burns was "0"

If not , bad media batch .

Conversion and burning on the fly is not widely used as many have had issue's ... best to convert first ... then go and burn the converted file's ... as you say ... no problem with already created vob's ... just with the "all-in-one" functionality of the product .

I expect the problem is where you are storing the files as noted above. (there is an access violation listed in the log you posted)

You would get much better results converting the files using a different tool and then burning. Nero conversion quality has always been an issue.
