Ok, this is going to sound strange, but are their any media players out there that will allow me to unsync the audio/video of a video file in realtime? I know that you can sync audio and video using virtual dub in the encoding process or whatever, but i need it for playback. My "problem" is that i use a wireless bluetooth transmitter to transmit my audio to my surround receiver, and my video goes to my tv through a hard wire (s-video). The wireless audio causes like a .5 second delay from when the audio is played on my computer to when the audio is received by the receiver, causing the audio/video to play out of sync. Therefore i am just looking for a way to put like a .5 second delay on the video, or read the audio .5 seconds ahead... Anyone know a player that can do this? Thanks!

Media player classic
Go to view/options then to internal filters/audio switcher and tick the "audio time shift" box and enter the time delay, which i think it is 500 for what you want or could be -500, try both. -
VLC Media Player can also do that. Settings>Preferences>Audio>Audio desynchronization compensation. Be sure to click 'Advanced options' to get the extended choices. The compensation is in milliseconds. 1000ms = 1 second.
And welcome to our forums. -
Just curious, what kind of project calls for the audio being out of synch?
I'm just wondering since keeping the audio IN SYNCH causes such a headache for so many people. -

i can see where it may be confusing because you are actually re-syncing or syncing at that point rather that unsyncing.
