I've got 2 SVCD mpeg2 files. I dropped them into the toast DVD Video window and selected Re-encode "Never" in the options. Then I hit burn. Toast multiplexed the files and burned them.
The DVD plays just fine on my DVD player.

What's the difference the SVCD2DVD feature in ffmpegX would make in this instance? Isn't what Toast did just about the same thing?

    I'm just curious.

    Thanks.

  2. The SVCDVD tool extracts MPG from BIN files, re-encodes audio to 48KHz and authors as DVD.
