  1. First off , if this is in the wrong forum i apologize and hope the moderator will move it to the proper forum for me.

I have some movies on my computer that i like to be able to watch on my tv ,, but even though the movies show up on my computer very clear and sharp , they show up dark on my tv.

Is there someway that i can sharpen , lighten , this up so that it's easier to watch on the tv?? You tend to lose some of the important parts because of it being so dark.

Thank you for the help in advance
    Gord

  4. Update to the latest drivers:

If that doesn't help then go to video properties and adjust brightness.

  8. 27" Panasonic, composite as the run with the "s" video would be to long , the set is non-HDTV , its about 2 years old , with my older video card ,,a Sapphire 64mb card , it was quite a bit sharper and lighter than this 256mb GeForce card.

The composite output should be responding to the controls MOVIEGEEK is descriibing. Normally you will use "Brightness" to set black level and "Contrast" to set white level.

I don't have a NVidia card here to be more specific.

  10. I will give it a shot tonight ,,, hopefully it will work , or i guess i'll have to go back to using some earlier form of drivers ,,,seems nvidia doesn't have the bugs worked out of the last two issues of driver updates.

    thanks all
