Cucusoft converter from avi to DVD format NO SOUND?

Hi,

I am using Cucusoft converter 7.07 Pro. I am having problem whenver i try to convert any avi movie to DVD format it got no sound. However, it has sound when i convert any avi movie to VCD format.
Also, I checked the output file or the converted DVD disc and i found Audio_TS folder is always empty.

Can anyone help me out?

Have you tried playing it on your PC as well as a DVD player?

It created output file VOB in my PC and i played it from PC but NO SOUND at all.

However, If i do the exact same thing but AVI to VCD format and it has sound in the output file as well as the burned VCD.

Does Cucusoft encode audio as AC3? If so, do you have an AC3 decoder installed?

That i don't know..... how can i find out if it is encoding with AC3?

I have the ac3 codec installed but it still refuses to process my mkv file. I don't know how to solve the problem. the other mkvs turned out fine becuase they had aac audio. just this one stands out. Please help
