Im wondering if theres a program that ill identify the scnreen resolution of the dvd?

What do you mean ?
g-spot will tell you the encoded resolution and aspect ratio of a DVD. If you wanted to find out the actual resolution or aspect ratio of the image itself (excluding black bars), load a vob form the movie into Virtualdubmpeg2, add a null transform filter, then hit crop. Start removing edges until you only have the image left.Read my blog here.
