Crop it or Mask it.

If you were experienced I would say it was an easy job, but I suspect you are going to find this challenging. I'll give you an outline of what you are in for, and you can decide if it is worth pursuing.
1. Rip the DVD to your HDD, demuxing to video and audi streams as you go.
2a. Create an avisynth script that crops off the marked section, then adds a border back to replace it
or
2b. Load the mpeg into virtualdubmpeg2 to crop and fill out again
3. Frameserve to an encoder to reencode for DVD
4. Re-author to get the sound and video back together into a DVD structure
5. Burn to a new disc.
If you have a menu on the current disc it will be lost.
Now this assumes that you have a DVD on the DVD-R. A DVD-R could in fact hold anything, so if it is an avi, let us know.Read my blog here.

I could not do it the first one.and tried second method without success
could you explain me how to do it.
Load the mpeg into virtualdubmpeg2 to crop and fill out again
3. Frameserve to an encoder to reencode for DVD
4. Re-author to get the sound and video back together into a DVD structure
I open video file and there are 4 section in it.I do download it only one of them I can not even download the 4 part of it.
I need more detail.I am really new on it. -
2 - In VirtualDubMpeg2 just use the "fill" filter. Set the Y1 offset to cover everything above the "line". What you cover in the filter will be what's kept in the video. The rest will be covered in black (or whatever color you select).
3 - Frameserve (click here)
You need a Mpeg2 encoder for this. I use QuEnc (which is free and good), but you have to set up the frameserver to emulate an avi file and then change the filetype to browse for it in QuEnc. If you have another encoder you have to let us know which one you have for us to help you.
4 - What authoring software do you have? I use TDA for most of my DVD projects, but there are other options, some free, some expensive, some difficult to learn but extremely flexible, some easy to learn but limited. The more you tell us about what you have to work with, the more we can help."Shut up Wesley!" -- Captain Jean-Luc Picard

1. Buy a bunch Sticky note
2. User a mgic marler to make them black
3. Paste them to the screen to cover up the line
Laugh, dammit
