Hi, i have a problem, and was wondering if anybody on this forum could help me.

I have MCE2005 installed and it runs like a dream. I've downloaded some wmv HD files from the Microsoft.com website and they play without any problems from my pc, directly through the 360 using an ethernet cable, and directly into my HDTV.

I've also downloaded a load of .avi files and they play fantastically through Transcode360.

However, i've also got some HD wmv files that are around 4GB each, and they don't stream to the 360 either using Transcode360 or without, and bearing they are wmv files they should play fine without Transcode360, but as i say they won't play with it and they won't play without it.

However, the strange thing is the HD wmv files WILL play on the PC using Media Player 11 and also if i open Media Centre on the PC, they play fantastically without even having to use Transcode360. I therefore wouldn't have thought it is a codec issue, as they play fine in Media Centre on the PC.

I would really like to get these HD files streamed to the 360, as i'm desperately wanting to watch some HD - please can somebody help me.

If they're 4GB each, then you could be looking at a file system issue. If your computer is using NTFS file system, then it should play them just fine. Sounds like your XBOX 360 isn't using a file system that can handle 4GB+ files.
