  1. i went on myspace.com and downloaded a music video. It is in flash format, so i used Riva player to play it. It played fine. I wanted to transcode it to DivX, but Super gave me an error when trying to do the conversion. Anyone know of any other software that WILL let me transcode it? I assume it's protected somehow.

    thanx!

Imtoo and Allok software support flv decoding to other formats and the output is better than that of total video converter or super.

  4. If you don't already know it, visiting MySpace will infect your PC with Spyware, guaranteed.

You need to scan EVERY TIME you go there.

My teenage daughter's PC will average 6 different infections after a less than 5 minute visit to that site. If I wasn't already getting flack for snatching her cell phone after exceeding minutes by over 900 I would block it at the router.

Testing methodology - Spybot, AVG, norton, Ad-aware, repeat in Safe Mode, clean PC, fire up IE (MySpace is Home Page), login, exit, test again. Voila, spyware!
