    Is there anybody that knows anything about this model of VCR? I've been offered one for a very good price.

    I know it has s-video in and out, but don't know if it has any other features like TBC or edit...

    I would be hooking it up to a Lite-On 5007 recorder to transfer VHS.

    The VCR you are looking at is a high end model. I bought it when it came out (many years ago).
    It does have a flying erase head, and can do very stable frame by frame advancing, so that is great for edits. It has 2 HQ modes, where most VCRs only have one. It can also play back and record SVHS tapes.

    Somewhere around the house I have the manual (and remote). If you have further questions, I can try to consult the manual for you.
