    Hi Guys
I have an avi movie , trying to make a dvd out of it
whenever I try to separate audio and video stream i get a corrupted audio file , it says no decompressor for audi codec which is MDEDIA_SUBTYPE_DTS (0x2001)
I used avidemux or TMPGencoder with no success , by the way I can play the movie with no problem
What decompressor can be used for this case ?

Apparently not so simple. That seems to be 'Digital Theater Sound' format. Read through this thread and you may find their solutions work: http://forums.3ivx.com/lofiversion/index.php?t82226.html

A little about the format: http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=DTS It sounds like VLC can play it. If so, it may be able to transcode it to another format.

  3. You could try AC3Filter with MPC. It can decode DTS, but I'm not sure if it decodes elementary audio streams (with no video).
