Has anybody had any experience with Onrebate.com rebates? Many vendors including some Radio Shack, some Circuit City and other rebates are from Onrebate.com. A Google search for "Onrebate - Reviews" shows some very bad Onrebate experiences which makes me very reluctant to buy those prodcuts for fear of not getting applicable rebates.

I only count on the rebate from staples and Compusa, and maybe bestbuy.

I dont think CC uses them, they wouldn't dare.
TigerDirect uses them & enough said. -
I have no problems with OnRebates.COM. They have one of the few web based progress measures for their rebates. They issue you an email when they receive your rebate, another when it is being processed, another when it clears processing, and final another when the check is sent to you. I have always got my rebates from them and in a timely manner.
My only problem with them is that they only accept 8 rebates per calendar year from any mailing address. After this they consider you a "vendor" and will inform you that the 9th rebate you sent in will not be honored.
I have quickly filled the 8 rebates in the beginning of the each year for the last few years and have never had any problems. They have a number you can call, an address you can write to, and an online website you can get useful information from.
I wish some manufacturers rebates were as good. -
I have never had a problem with them - I do a lot of shopping at Tigerdirect - though I personally don't bother with rebates anymore.

Thanks ROF for posting your positive experinces with Onrebate, and I may just give them a try.

Wonder-of-wonders, OfficeMax has gone "rebate-free" and immediately becomes my favorite if they have anything I need.
Ironically, before they went "rebate-free" they were batting 100% for all rebates I submitted through them for many years.
In contrast, there was my recent need to send a complaint form to the CA Attorney General's office to dislodge one totally uncooperative vendor (product bought through TigerDirect) from a small rebate. The cynic in me thinks they thought they could ignore such a small rebate with little or no repercussions or that I'd just let it go.
They were wrong, and now they are on their Attorney General's you-know-what list. -
I also have used Onrebate through TigerDirect purchases and have had no problems. I like the tracking aspect and I also have received my rebates in a timely manner.
