    hi all!

    I plan to purchase a Philips SPC900NC/00 USB webcam.

    My question:

    How can I record the data stream from the webcam into a
    video file (e.g. avi, wmv)

    Any help is greatly aprechiated!

    Use a capture app like AmCap or VirtualDub or... Look under tools -> Capture section.
