Even if such a site did exist, you are unlikely to get it here. While subtitles may fall into a grey-ish area regarding copyright, especially if they have been typed in from scratch, ripping audio from a DVD certainly falls outside the bounds of the term of this site, and posting a link would breach the rules.

You can readily find the audio on your purchased media.

Not always. For instance, I may want German language on my DVD, but my region-1 DVD may only have French, Spanish, and English. I can see his motivation for wanting it... although I agree it's not legal to share the copyrighted audio.

Best option I could recommend is to get the audio off of a PAL disc (or VHS). Sell it later if you have to, although legally you would also be required to delete your ripped audio... not that "they" would check up on you.

Oddly enough I can usually select French, German, or Spanish on most of my region 1 discs.

French and Spanish sure, but German is rarely found on R1 DVDs. DVDs usually only contain common languages in that region.

randomboy I really doubt that any such website exists. Your only viable option is probably to import DVDs from another region.

  10. I believe "Das Boot" R1 DVD has german. That's one of the few that I am aware of.
