    ARGHH!!!!!!

The night of the 200th episode and the SCIFI channel is on the blink!!!! The STARGATE 200th episode special is on right now and I can't see it.

It was fine at 6pm est and after I got back from going for some fast food the channel went blank!!!!

    DAMN COMCAST!!!!!!

Is anyone else having this problem in other states??? Is it just Michigan or just the local area????

    EDIT

    IT'S BACK ON!!!

I'm setting my FUSION card to capture the repeat at 11

didnt notice scifi, but i was watching tv earlier this morning and had a few channels flicker on me. seriously, the last few months have made me hate comcast. ever since they bought monroe's local cable company, i never really had too many problems. but the last few months it seems ive had more outages than ever. at least twice a day all the channels will go out for about 15 seconds or so. and at least once a week, one or more of the channels will go out for over 10 mins.

Glad it's back up. Luckily episodes aren't too hard to find, though I am advocating nothing!

Damn, that sucks. I don't even get the new episodes. I'm not sure if you can even get them in Canada when they're new. I'm pretty sure they air a few months later.

I don't even get the later airings, what wiht my basic cable and all. I'm caught up to season 8, and am currently waiting patiently for season 9 to come out on dvd. It'll probably be another year before I see the 200th episode.

Which is why I'm glad I don't have Comcast, because I heard so many horror stories about them. I havent watched the scifi channel in years because there havent been hardly any shows to catch my fancy.

Out here on the west side of Michigan I had Charter cable; when I did have it I rarely experienced any outages. But recently though I cut my cable TV service since I hardly watch it and just kept my internet service.

I wish I could get Charter (I live right on the border, but my street is fed by Comcast). But I don't even get SciFi cause I refuse to step up to (and pay through the nose for) the next level because of 1 channel.

Didn't Time Warner buy all of Comcast's and Adelphia's assets? Methinks some of you will be having a new provider soon. My local service was Adelphia, but now it's Time Warner.

I know adelphia went bellyup - my sister in Cleveland use to have that service. But its no more. I don't know about here in Michigan. I haven't heard anything about that. And the comcast commercials are everywhere this summer - hard to miss. So they haven't changed yet.

Time Warner took over all of Adelphia's assets as of August 1st.
