Hi, I'm new to the whole encoding/burning thing, as I just got my first Mac (thank God). I have an XViD file that I want to burn to DVD. I followed the how-to steps on the FFMPEGX site, and everything encoded fine. I tested the movie in the Apple DVD player and it played fine. Then I converted it to a disk image with FFMPEGX and burned it using Disk Utility.
Long story short is that it plays on my set top DVD player, but it has lime green artifacts EVERYWHERE. Especially in the black bars above and below the video. Any ideas what this might be from? Thanks for any input.
