Is anyone using a direct tv model H20 for their OTA digital? I'm looking at getting the unit from a local store and using it to pickup OTA digital signals. Do I have to have the unit activated? Or can I use it straight out of the box for my OTA locals? If I buy one off ebay that was activated, will it stay active for OTA even though its not being used for direct tv?
which units are around on ebay alot (meaning they can be found everywhere)that can be used?
Or is there a company that sells these units, even used? I would rather buy from a company (had problems with ebay sellers before)
I was going to buy a probrand but I was told it doesn't have a timer to turn the unit on and off and go to a selected channel for recording on my dvd burner
Thanks Guys
