What would be the best way to go about doing a nice DVD.Im not worried about menus and all that as much as just going from a .TS to DVD (video_ts) folder.I know the resolution will drop and all that.I can throw the files then into TMPGEnc DVD Author Pro to make menus and all that.
I just dont know if it is better to go from .TS to AVI first or to .MPG with another program....
Would using HDTV2DVD be enough to just get the files and go from there?

I am hoping the end result can be a nice DVD with nice menu and add 'extras' ( photos slide show ) to make it a nice complete DVD
Maybe I should make this a 2 disc deal as well to preserve PQ ?

best, 890 passes with Cinema Craft Encoder and frameserve with avisynth if you can't open directly in cce.
