    ok i got a I/O Dvd writer and i guess its good. the problem is, i'm trying to burn movies / dramas to watch it on dvd player. first i burned an old japanese anime which was released like 1980'- 90's so the video quality isn't so great. i tried playing it on my dvd player and it worked well. the anime is about 150mb, 20-25 minutes long. afterwards i tried it on a drama i watch, which is high quality iguess. but wen i look at the preview of it, the video and sound don't match. the drama is about 700mb, 1 hr long. well after that i try to see if other things are the same. mostly were all the same and similar, but wen i was trying to burn fantastic four, it was good, video and sound matched wen i saw the preview. wen i try to burn it, it tells me that the movie contains more PAL than NTSC. another movie, pirates of the carribean, also had good match in video and sound and also sed more PAL than NTSC.
    well i'm not sure, but i think movies with more PAL is better match in video and sound? i'm really noob at this, please some1 help me. i really want the burn dramas and watch in dvd player. is there anyway to make the video and audio match?

    Are you converting DVIX or XVID to a viewable on TV DVD? If that is the case and you mentioned Pirates, then you are dealing in Warez don't you think. The anime maybe not but the pirates one for sure.

    Use convertXtoDVD to convert your AVI sources to DVD. Be careful when mentioning actual movie names, you are admiting to doing illegal movie transfers that way.
    No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

    ... or going the looooong way about a DVD backup (DVD -> AVI -> DVD). Stranger things have been suggested here in the past
    If in doubt, Google it.

    @nyczjohn:
    Not insinuating anything, but have you read the AUP, particularly the section about warez?
    Generallt, many alternatives for converting AVI to DVD are found in the CONVERT section left. use the conversion selector to set source and destination format.
    A video file can't be just "more PAL than NTSC" - it's either or. Ideally it's the same TV system that's used in your country (US=NTSC) unless you have a multi-system DVD player/TV - then it doesn't matter. Changing video from NTSC to PAL or the other way around is usually not a noob friendly task.
