i have lots of them ..supervideo cd but i do love dvd more i feel the stuff it properly saved on this format iv been seting up a dvd player to my dvdrecorder+video combo im very pleased with the picture q but im asking when i do this...will the dvd looks just like the supervideo cd? and a point i only ever saved really great looking clips no bad q!!! hope some one can help so far iv recorded 3 supervideo cd onto dvd...(smile)![]()

If you want to retain exactly the same quality, have a look at DVD Lab Pro. It is able to use the video files from SVCD discs to create DVDs without re-encoding. You can fit 6 SVCDs (3 movies) to a DVD.
As SVCD is not part of the DVD specification, these would be considered out of spec discs, and may not play well on all players, especially older ones, however they will be identical in image quality.
That said, your method's quality will be dependent in the quailty of your player, your recorder, and the cables in between. Will it be as good - probably not - it is an analogue dub. Will you notice the difference - only you can tell.Read my blog here.
