Hey I'm using Windows Media Player 11, I tried to take a screenshot of it using the "prtScrn" button. After that I pasted it in to Photoshop CS2 and I was unable to see the video, only the player its self.

Does any one know why this happens, is it a windows restriction thing or im i doing somthing wrong?

I have tried taking screen shots in other programs and it always works, just not in wmp...

Pause the video and hit ctrl-I, that will put a screenshot of the video on the clipboard.

That works well and it just gets the video not the player.
    Thanks for your help!

Guess you could edit them together if you need both.

True. I did that once before after taking the screen shot from VLC media player, however it can be anoying trying to make it look right on photoshop.

To get the full screen including video right click your desktop and select properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot> and slide the hardware acceleration to 0. Prt Scr should work now.

And don't forget to slide it back when done...
