how to author a HD dvd or HD blue ray ?

Dear all:

is there any way now a days to author a HD dvd or HD blue ray?

i got the blue ray player (by the way the quality is awesome) and you can put HD videos in a DVD data and play them but of course without any menues as you do when you author a dvd.

any news about that?

i realized you need a bd burner but still you need sofware for authoring

Ulead have a HD-DVD version of one of their authoring tools. The only BluRay software I have seen was from Sony, and was obscenely expensive. Don't know if that has changed.

by the way it will be good to have a discussion about the new format, i have played around with the blu ray player and it doesnt have audio for mpeg1 videos, i tried increasing the sample rate to 48 and work. it looks like the player only like mpeg2 by the book
