    You can "copy prevent" them to a certain extent, but if someone is halfway determined, they will be able to make a copy of the disc.

    Searh for "copy protect vcd", you'll find some help.

    hi..thanks for ur reply... i mean layman are not able to copy it when they try to brun the disc...jus like what esplande library is doing to all their disc...any idea

    Correct, you are just preventing copying, you can't stop it. Basic methods for attempting a copy will be thwarted.

    DVD: Put a "dummy" title last, and physically damage outer edge of the disc

  9. I am surprised that no one here has given the ultimate answer, in fact, it works so well we should probably make it a sticky.

    The sure fire, 100% uncopyable, fool proof method is don't distribute your disks

    Of course, it is commonly believed that you either
    1. Don't want people to pirate work you already pirated.
    2. Don't want people to pirate your kids *insert something that you kid is doing that nobody would want to pirate anyway*
    3. Are trying to profit off of work that is technically yours, but is debated whether it is morally or ethically right to do so.

    If you don't happen to be in that group *right* then good luck. Even Joe Sixpack will be able to copy your dvd. A quick search on google will bring him here.

    My money is on #1
