Hello guys.
I'm trying to deinterlace a tv/dvdr captured video with gordianknot buit-in deinterlace filter in order to save my old vhs tapes to divx and i'm having always the same problem.
When using: Kernel Deinterlace, Field Deinterlace and Field Deinterlace (no blend), we could see a lot of ghost in move scenes.
When using: Smart Bob, TomsMoComp and Inverse Telecine, we could see lots of stuttered scenes in a interval of 2 minutes.

If you still see blends even when using a non-blending deinterlacer, it probably means that you have field-blended video. If you separate and look at the individual fields, you'll see that some of them are blended. Fixing that is an advanced operation and is not always successful. Is it really objectionable when you play the video at normal speed?
