Morning guys, hoping everything is fine to your side!

    I hava a question:
I have sucessfully produced a mpeg4 format movie clip.
I am wondering whether there is mp4 editing software, easy to use, in the world.

    Thank you for your input.

Didn't you edit your vid before converting to MP4? Now you need to re edit the MP4?

    Seems a bit odd.

    Mp4 and mpeg4 are two different format's ...

Mpeg4 ... edit with vdub or any other avi editor you like .

    Mp4 ... MP4Cam2AVI ... use it to convert mp4 to mpeg4 , video compressor = xvid , audio = mp3 cbr .
Open this new mpeg4 in vdub .

Move a few frame's forward , to get rid of that text crap .
Down the button in the middle of the vdub gui are two arrow looking button's ... hit the one on the left (lock first frame)
Now go to end of video , and hit that lock button on the right .

If you did this correctly , that scroll bar above those button's will highlight the sellection .

Video to direct stream copy .
Audio to direct stream copy .

Save as avi ... name it , and save to another folder .

When done , keep this new mpeg4 avi that was just created ... and delete all other's that were involved with project .

Enjoy and now edit at will .

    They are NOT NECESSARILY different.

".MP4" tells the computer that it's a MPEG4 file format & program/transport stream. What's inside it is usually MPEG4 compressed video (usually SP/ASP) and MPEG4 compressed audio (usually AAC-LC).

MPEG4 can often refer to any of the above, but can also MPEG4-compressed video streams in QT or AVI wrappers (file format). This includes DivX/Xvid, 3ivX, etc.

The converter you mentioned--MP4Cam2AVI--removes the video and audio streams from the MP4 Program/Transport stream (aka file format) and puts it into AVI file format. Basically, "trans-muxing". This is lossless, as long as you don't have to re-convert/recompress anything.
The choice of "Xvid" is more a matter of deciding which fourCC is used to refer to the MPEG4 video stream. Hopefully, it isn't wanting to recompress to Xvid...
You could probably tell by the speed.
Similar choices should be made for audio.

AFA the OP's question: If you have "produced" the video clip, then you should go back to Square One and re-"produce" an edited version of the clip. While you could do what is suggested about trans-muxing and editing in Vdub, you'll end up having to recompress at some point and lose quality, unless you're very lucky and can edit on the GOP boundaries.
