Don't know where this goes so i will post this here
I have all these Videos that i have dld in .avi format and other formats, few files the first is .avi and the second is .mpg. So i need to join them to burn i have convertX to DVD but how do i join them so i can then burn it on disc. I don't know what software to use.

ConvertXtoDVD will allow you to put different videos in different formats on the same disc. Just select all the files you want when you start setting up the project.

The only thing it wont do it join multi-part movies into a single title, so this will be a slight pause between clips during play back.

... which you should be able to fix by importing the titles back into an authoring software such as TMPGEnc DVD Author, adding both titles to the one track and deleting the chapter stop created at the start of the 2nd clip. This should then play back seamlessly as one title.
