Copy DVD disc to DVD recorder Problem

I have Grundig 250GB HD DVD Recorder.

I cannot copy the DVD disc to DVD Recorder.

The DVD disc is self made and only contain the picture. The disc can play on DVD player.
I haven't add any CSS protection on the disc.

Is there any suggestion, please help.

I don't know about your Grundig recorder, but to copy from a DVD to the HDD with my Pioneer I have to use its one-touch-record feature to actually play the DVD while it is recorded to the HDD. What does the Grundig manual say is the way to copy from DVD to HDD?
