    Hi All,

I would like to convert a VP62 avi to DVD. I have seen a few posts but none give me a total newbie a full understanding of what to do. I have downloaded Virtual Dub and found the codec so I can open the VP62 avi in vdub. But the question is where to from here? Is there a good site with instructions on this? Any help would be appreciated.

I think I would try SUPER for that instead of VD. If you planned on encoding it to another AVI format in VD, then encoding again to MPEG-2 format, that would result in a fair amount of loss. But since you can open it in VD, you may be able to frameserve it directly to a MPEG2 encoder like TMPGEnc. Frameserving guide:

Converting a VP62 avi is no different than converting any other avi.
