    does spumux accept italics or bold formats in subtitles ?

    i.e., for example this is a subtitle line

  2. No. As you have to select a specific font for all subtitles, you could choose to have all subtitles in italic. But not for just a few or even change it within a subtitle line. The only way to do something like this is using picture based subtitles. There are several programs in the tool list: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=24#24 which can convert text based subtitles to binary sup files. Unfortunately spumux doesn't support sup files directly, but you can convert the sup file to suitable png files and use them with spumux. My GUI for dvdauthor has a built in converter for sup files.
