TV to VCR

hi,
i want to know if it is possible to scramble video recorded from tv via cable or to distort it in any way. the source is a VCD, the monitor is a TV. i want to distort the recordings to a video tape.
can someone please help this ROOOKY?

Your question is very confusing as to exactly what you want to do. Are you trying to:
1) record a VCD to a VHS tape ?
2) record from cable TV to tape ?
Can you be more specific ?

hi,
thank you for your prompt response. it is not from cable to tv and not from vcd to tv.
what i mean is that i want to protect a training video that i am about to release from pirates.
i do not want them to be able to make illegal copies so i want to know if i can record that VCD in such a way that when it is played, it will show well on tv but when recorded from tv to Video tape, the outcome will be distorted. i am still online and will wait fro your reply.
