Crap in, crap out. Basic rule of video.

    What was your source ?
How did you resize and encode it ?
    What programs ?
    What bitrate ?

i don't understand wa you mean by de source. de movie file i used was a clip of the crazy frog music video if that answers that question. i didn't resize it, it has here 352x240. it was in a mpg format before i imported it.
    n i don't see a bitrate here

Your source video is small, over compressed, and crap. It is VCD resolution, which is also acceptable at the very low end for DVD resolution, however you cannot author 16:9 widescreen correctly with less than full D1.

So what you have is rubbish, blown up on your screen to be rubbish, just bigger. You can't fix it. The only advice I can offer you to fix this is to throw away the clip you have, and get a better, bigger source. Or live with it.

    NTSC 720 x 480. PAL 720 x 576

See What is DVD - top left corner menu

But resolution is only part of it. If the source is over compressed it will look pixellated, even if it is higher resolution.
