  1. I have two avi's which i want to join in virtualdub.

It complains that they are of different sampling rates, one is 15 and the other is 30,

The 15 fps one was a series of mjpg files from my digital camera which i want to join to an avi file captured from my digital video camera.

I converted them to the same fcc (hfyu) to keep the quality and get them the same. But now it complains that the sampling rates are different, i assume that the ones that were originaly mjpg were 15 fps (i am learning as i am going along so i may have got some of this wrong).

How do i get the two the same?

Or is there a better way of getting 10 mjpg avi files to join to one dv-avi file.

For VirtualDub to join them, they have to be the same framerate, framesize and audio sampling rate. If you plan to convert them to DVD, they would have to be 25fps and 48Khz audio anyway, along with the framesize of 720 X 576. (PAL)

VD should be able to adjust the framesize, framerate and audio sampling rate. Then you should be able to join them.

Ok, i may need guidance on this... I have looked around for tutorials but cant seem to find something simple enough for me to get my head around.

Is there a site that has details on how to change the framesize, framerate and audio sampling rate using VD?
